They Left It Out of the Textbooks. We Put It Back.

Our  Mission

This Is a Space for Truth-Telling

I started Smart Brown Girl because I was tired of the silence — tired of watching history be sanitized, erased, or twisted to protect power.

This is for the teacher staying late to rewrite lessons, the parent searching for books that tell the truth, the student who finally sees themselves in the story, and the organizer who knows history is the map.

📜Unfiltered Truth — No sanitization, no gatekeeping

✊🏾Resistance & Memory — Connecting past to present fights
